The tradition of Afternoon Tea has been around for over 200 years. When the Duchess of Bedford felt hunger between lunch and dinner, she invited friends to enjoy tea and 'light refreshments' in her room at Woburn Abbey. Her innovative idea quickly gained popularity, and upon returning to London, 'Afternoon Tea' became a delightful sensation.

Now, two centuries later, Tea's the Day is excited to present a 'Pop-up Afternoon Tea Experience' throughout Newport News and Hampton. This event aims to fulfill the community's need for an elegant social gathering, featuring perfectly cut finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones, exquisite petit fours (bite-sized treats), and, of course, a delightful selection of tea!
